Terms and Conditions “Terms”

By continuing to use our website (https://lagit.co.uk) you are agreeing to comply with the terms and conditions described below. We reserve the right to update these at any time without notice. If you do not agree with any or all of the terms, please do not continue to use our site. 

 

For the purposes of our privacy policy and these terms, the use of “we”, “us” and “our” refers to the company (LAG-IT), while any reference to “you” or “your” relates to the customer or website user. “Products”, “goods” and “items” refer to the products sold through this website, and the terms “site” and “website” are referring to https://lagit.co.uk.

Ordering Process 

  • We have the right to reject any order submitted via the website for any reason. An order is only accepted once we have processed it and you have received a tracking number.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that any personal data, including delivery address, provided to us while ordering through the website is correct. Please notify us as soon as possible if any errors are made as we can not take responsibility for a delivery to an incorrect address.

Pre-ordering 

  • Pre-orders are occasionally offered through our website, subject to availability. Please note that payment will be taken at the time of ordering. All items will then be dispatched to you within 4 weeks of pre-order. We are unable to provide exact dates of dispatch for pre-orders. `
     

  • If you wish to cancel a pre-order, please notify us via Instagram or email within 7 days of placing it. Cancellations are not possible after this time.
     

  • If there is an unreasonable delay in receiving a pre-ordered item (anything exceeding 4 weeks) we will notify you as soon as possible, and you are fully entitled to request cancellation of your order and receive a full refund.

Price of Goods 

  • The prices given on our website are correct at the time of writing. All sales are handled through WIX internal payment platform to ensure safety and security when purchasing. Multiple payment options are available including all major credit and debit cards and through Paypal. Payment will be taken immediately after placement of your order, or any time before delivery of goods.

Order Cancellations

  • If you wish to cancel an order placed through the website, please contact us through Instagram or via email within 2 days of ordering. and you will be entitled to receive a full refund. Orders cannot be cancelled after this time.

Refunds Policy 

  • If for whatever reason you are not completely satisfied with the product(s) you receive, we are happy to offer a full refund (minus shipping cost), as long as they are returned to us within 14 days of purchase in unused condition (as determined by us on receipt of the item(s)). We will not be able to cover return shipping costs, and so these will be at your own expense.

  • Refunds will be provided via the original method of payment as quickly as possible once your product has been returned and accepted.​

​

  • If you receive a damaged item on delivery, please contact us immediately, including a picture of the defective item. LAG-ITs that have been used and/or damaged by you are not eligible for a refund or replacement at ANY time.

Storage and Use 

​

  • LAG-ITs are designed to fit 13mm wall insulation. We currently sell 15x13mm, 22x13mm and 28x13mm. All LAG-ITs are made to suit the majority of relevant pipe insulation sizes. Unfortunately, manufacturers cannot guarantee the outside diameter of every piece of insulation and as a result, LAG-ITs may sometimes fit a little tight or loose. This is outside of our control. Similarly, due to the nature of the manufacturing process, small imperfections may be present on the surface of goods supplied, although these should not affect the suitability of the LAG-IT for purpose.

  • LAG-IT has been designed and tested to withstand everyday storage in a tool-bag and the odd drop. We DO NOT recommend frequently dropping them or attempting to purposely damage them. Please keep out of direct sunlight, as extreme heat can result in some distortion of the plastic.

  • LAG-IT takes no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, or harm caused by the purchase, use or owning of the tool.

Delivery 

  • All orders will be processed within 7 days from the date of order and sent via third-party carrier with a minimum of 2 working days delivery time (depending on location). If there is any delay in processing on our end, we will inform you as soon as possible.

Personal Data 

  • Any data provided by you during the use of our website will be retained and used in line with conditions set out in our Privacy Policy.

Website Use 

  • The information contained on this website, including but not limited to the design, text and logo are the intellectual property of the company. Reproduction of any of the material is prohibited.

  • Our website may contain links to third-party sites or services over which we have no ownership. We accept no responsibility for content or services provided by these third-party sites, or any loss or damage that occurs as a result of their use.
